Very busy winter season. New Years, Valentine's, private parties. Julia Child Revisited just wrapped up last night.
Projects on my plate:
Renovation of Handicap ramp, removal of fencing, replacing fence at back of property, stucco repair. All work was to begin today, but rain forecast for the next 5 days.
Refinishing and reupholstering of dining room chairs. Man was to pick up 10 chairs after last night's service, but did not show. He did one chair for me and it turned out great. Still hoping this works out.
Two private parties this Friday.
Vacation with family starts Saturday.
Ordering replacement oilcloth tablecloths for brunch. After a month of searching for premade - ugly - and finding a company in South Carolina that will turn cotton into oilcloth by laminating it. Did this 18 years ago and my contacts seem to have dried up. Some of the original cloths are wearing out. 18 years is good.
Final decision to be made on participating in Scout Mob. Have some problems with how we will track emails; found many people reuse them. Have to coordinate with Point of Sale system. We are signed up to begin after Mother's Day.
Lots of hiring to be done. One waiter out, very ill. One returned to school. Need more people in the kitchen, need to reorganized management duties. Hostess leaving for Europe for the summer and can't work Sundays when she returns. Hmm.
Proposals for baby showers, wedding showers to get to customers.
New cleaning company to break in.
Oh yes, and food. Spring menu debuts tomorrow.
Great blog.
Thanks
Jocelyn

No offense, but if there's a facebook like button, it'll be much easier for me to share.
