April is a very big month for fund raisers and special events. Last night I hauled a cartload of items to the Georgia Aquarium for Toast of the Town held by Wine Spectator Magazine. It involved an 11 hour day. This was my packing list:
500 individual Potato Latkes in Hotel Pans (Mel and I cranked these out in the morning and they were delicious
1 1/2 gallons of Scallops, diced to fit on Latkes
2 quarts of Chopped Tomatoes
3 lb butter
1 cup of Salt and Pepper mix
6 lemons
3 cups parsley
1 qt sour cream
2 bottles of white wine
cutting board
chef's knife
bowls for parsley, tomatoes, lemons, etc.
Spoons
Tongs
2 saute pans
Table Top stove with butane fuel
Chafing dish with Sterno (brought 2 sternos, needed four. Thanks Mortons!)
Table Cloths
Restaurant Signage
